The OMEGAflash™ is a revolutionary 2-piece flashing that is made right here in the U.S.A. With distinct shaping that adjusts to any roof pitch, it provides a simple, cost-effective solution to replacing an existing electrical mast roof flashing and is ideal for new construction as well!
Before the invention of The OMEGAflash™, only a one-piece flashing for this application was available. This meant the only way to replace it would involve cutting away the existing flashing, having the electric company disconnect the electrical supply to the electrical mast, sliding a new one-piece flashing over the pipe, and having the electrical company reconnect the electrical supply. This was very costly, time-consuming, and impractical and something very few roofing contractors were willing to do. Instead, a quick workaround was devised which involved removing the existing flashing and applying roofing tar to the pipe penetration or installing a "makeshift" flashing around the pipe in an effort to seal the pipe to the decking below. Unfortunately, both methods are ineffective and almost always result in roof leaks and rotten wood.
